Author: Ian 07/08/2009

I have lived with lots of different types of people including college house mates and girlfriends, but about ten years ago I lived with a bloke who turned out to be a bit of a manic depressive, it was a shame really as when we went out drinking he was always a hit with the ladies opening doors etc. He was a nightmare though when he didn’t have his tablets called citalopram which a control or tablet which stops you feeling depressed.

The nightmare behind this tablet which I tried to help him get off, is, its almost addictive, as when you stop taking it you become depressed, angry, sick and almost a drug addict like affect, i.e. going cold turkey, which makes you need to keep taking it. He after 10 years still takes it and pays a prescription charge every month which surely should be free as its a drug he will have to take every year of his life!!

Do you take this annoying drug?
