Preventing Heart Disease

There are many ways to prevent heart disease. These ways consist of living a healthy lifestyle including a healthy diet and regular exercise. It is often recommended to do 30 minutes exercise at least 3 times a week that works the heart. Keeping the heart pumping faster is an essential part of improving its’ strength which in turn prevents heart disease. Eating healthily is also important as too much fat can block the arteries and this makes the heart struggle. So there has to be a balance between eating right and exercising regularly. Aerobic (cardiovascular) exercise such as running or swimming is the best kind.
